Link x Princess!Reader-Escaping Royalty part 27

Link glared at you then at the device on your chest.

"How am I going to do this without hurting her?"he wandered aloud. Link looked down at his Master sword to see OoT Link staring up at him.

"Link. Don't overthink this too much. Just look at what you have to do. All you have to do is just get that device off of her chest. Now, _____ may be strong but in hard facts she is still a girl, meaning she is weaker than you in strength. So pinning her down should be easy." he explains.

Link's eyes narrowed.

"You do realize how sexist that was, right?"he asks. OoT Link shrugged.

"Eh, there was a lot of sexist things in my day so don't pay it any mind. But still. All you have to do is pin her down."

"Alright..I understand. But I can't use you in this fight.."Link set down the Master Sword and shield and kicked them to the side. He then looked up at you as you approached him.

"Come on Link. Let's play.."you say, holding out your hand. Link couldn't help but smile slightly.

"Aww...she looks so cute when she's bad.."Link cooed. OoT Link rolled his eyes.

"Focus Link!"he called. Link blinked his eyes and shook his head.

"R-Right! Sorry.."

Soon, you and Link were only a few feet away from one another.

"______, I don't want to hurt you. But I'm not just going to sit back and let you be used by Nicolei like a puppet!"Link shouted.

"Enough feely talk Link! Don't waste my time!"you yell back before charging at him. Link sighed and charged at you as well.

The two of you collided into to one another but somehow Link managed to get his arms around your waist and tackle you to the floor.

You squirmed and struggled beneath him as Link pinned your arms to the floor with his knees. A look of sympathy glinted his eyes.

"I'm sorry for this ______..But it has to come off!"Link gripped at the exposed device that was embedded in your chest. He took a deep breath and pulled it with all of his might.

You immediately began to cry out in pain and Link struggled against the sharp electricity that surged through his arm.

"Link stop! You're hurting me!"you cry out but Link didn't stop. He hated the pain he was causing you, yes, but he knew that Nicolei would only put you through more pain if he didn't free you from his grasp.

Link pulled and pulled, feeling the device begin to rip out of you but suddenly his fingers slipped and in a flash of one powerful shock, Link was thrown off of you.

He collided into the floor, laying there paralyzed while the electricity still surged through his body like a circuit.

You gasp and sit up, quickly getting to your feet. You walk over to Link and slam your foot against his chest causing him to wince a bit.

"Damn..almost..had it.."Link growled.

"Yep but you didn't! Too bad! Looks like it's game over for you now."you say with a smirk. Feeling his body began to come back to him, Link smirked and reached his hand onto his item pouch.

"Oh..is it really?"he asks. You raise a brow at his smirk.

"What are you smirking for? Whatever you have planned, it won't work! Give up!"you say. Link shook his head and pulled out his clawshot.

"_____..I will never give up. Especially when it comes down to you!"he says, aiming the clawshot at you.

"Your clawshot? That can't help you in this situation!"you say.

"Well...let's just see about that."You flinched as Link released the shot at you. You awaited for it to hit you but nothing ever did. You put your arms down from in front of you and stare at Link.

"See! I told you! You didn't even hit me! What a waste.."you smirk but Link's smirk never wavered.

"Well..that's good considering how it wasn't you I was aiming for.." You furrow your brows at him.

"What do you..mean?"you ask. Link pointed to your chest. You look down and gasp when you find the clawshot's hook clasped tightly around the device on your chest. You look back at Link with wide eyes and notice the chain of the clawshot held in his hands.

"_____..this hurts me a lot more than it does you.."he says before yanking it with a mighty pull.

You gasp as the force from the pull, pulls you down to Link. You fell atop of him and your lips collided with each other's. As soon as you were against him, Link grabbed the device once more.

"Forgive me.."he mumbled before pulling on the device one last time. You screamed in pain against Link's lips as you feel every cord of the shocking device being ripped out of your chest.

Feeling it out fully, Link threw the device aside while you sat up. Link looked up at you with a smile.

"_____..you okay?"he asks. You stare at Link, feel the place on your chest where the device once resided, and nodded.

"Y-yeah..It's gone..I'm..okay.."you say to him. Link sighed and sat up.

"Thank goodne-"But before Link could finish your lips were pressed against his again. Link's eyes widen in realization that you had gripped his tunic collar and pulled Link to you. It didn't take long for Link to ease into the kiss and wrap his strong arms around your shoulders, holding you tighter.

After a few minutes, you and Link pull away but never let go of each other.

You look up into Link's baby blue orbs. Tears begin to corner your eyes as you lightly cup his face with your palms.

"Link..I..I'm so sorry!"you cry, throwing your arms around his upper torso and burying your face in his shirt. Link's tunic began to dampen from your tears.

He sighed and grasped your shoulders gently before pulling you away from him. His hands cupped your face gently, his thumbs wiping away any tears.

"Hey...what are you crying for?"Link asks. His voice was soft and gentle again. You sniffle.

"I almost hurt you. This is all my fault. I did so many awful things to you. I said horrible hurtful words. But you still came back for me. I even almost killed you yet you still..."your voice trailed off in whimpers. Your brought your hands to your face as you cried into them. Link's smile softened more as he grabbed your hands and pulled them away from you.

"Sh.."Link silenced you. "Of course I came back. I would never leave you behind. I told you I'd protect you til the day I die, didn't I?"Link says, lifting your head slowly so that his eyes matched yours.

"I'm glad you're alright and back in my arms now. I..I missed you.."Link blushed a bit as he spoke. You stare up at him for a moment before connecting your lips with his again.

"I missed you too Link."you say after the kiss. "Up til now..I felt as if I was in a dark place. There was nothing but hate around me. I felt trapped but..while I was in there...I heard a voice. It was small, nearly muffled by the sounds of hate, but it was there, calling me.. That voice gave me hope."you say.

You look up at Link with a smile.

"It was your voice Link."

Link's eyes widen with slight delight.

"So..All this time..I was reaching you..I'm glad.."he sighs. You nod and fall against Link's chest.

"Oh Link.."you sighed.

"_____..?"Link mumbled. Slowly, you sit up.

"Link..I..I want to reveal my identity to you now. I want you to see me..as the princess I am. No more wasting time. No more hiding who I am.."you say as you get to your feet.

Link stood as well.

"Alright.." You took a few steps back from Link and clasped your hands together. Link had to shield his eyes from the nearly blinding light that illuminated from you.

When he looked at you again, you had changed. Your (h/c) hair was neatly swept behind you, held back by a golden tiara across your forehead with mixed jewels embedded in it.

You wore a long champagne colored dress with (f/c) Hylian markings on it. Your shoulders were protected by small shoulder cuffs that had small jewels on them as well and on your ears dangled tiny triforces.

Overall, you looked relatively similar to your older sister, Zelda with slight moderations. You also had black eyeliner around your eyes that brought out the (e/c) in them and on your lips was faded lipstick.

Link gawked at you, his eyes wide and mouth half open.

"_____..you look...beautiful.."he says. You blush and stare down at the ground. Your hands were crossed over one another in front of you. Link approached you quickly and stood before you.

Slowly, you look up at him.

"I do?"you ask. Link nodded and took your hands into his.

"Of course you do. But now, we should get out of here."Link says. You nod.

"You're right. We don't know what Nicolei will try next. But what about Midna and Thorn?"you ask. You and Link look over to where Midna and Thorn once were but see nothing now.

"They're gone.."Link says with a slight gasp.

"But how?"you wonder.

"No time to find out.."Link picks up his Master sword & Shield and swings them over his back before turning to you. "Let's get out of here." You nod.

"Right."
