You, Jeff, and Jeffery walked side by side ,with you in the middle, down the dark drippy corridor of the Asylum. You and Jeffery could barely see an inch in front of your faces but somehow Jeff could. You and Jeffery had to rely on Jeff's eyes to guide you through the halls. Once could easily get lost in a place like this without the proper guidance.

Jeff held your hand firmly and you held Jeffery's.

"Be careful..don't let go of me _______."Jeff whispered to you. You nod while Jeffery just rolled his baby blue eyes.

"What about me Jeff?"Jeffery growled angrily.

"I could care less about you.."Jeff spoke blunt words that angered Jeffery to his core. Sensing a fight was brewing between the two, you speak up and say,

"Guys, please don't start."

"I'm not starting anything..Come this way."Jeff stated in a blunt tone before pulling you and Jeffery down another corridor. Jeffery didn't say anything. He just followed angrily.

As you, Jeff, and Jeffery walk down another hall, you hear something creep up behind you. It sounded like nails being scratched against the ground followed by dragging.

The sound quickly gained the attention of Jeff and Jeffery who whipped their heads around quickly to lock eyes with two large whit orbs.

"Oh shit!"Jeffery swore as he jumped back.

"Jeffery, take _______."Jeff ordered. Jeffery nodded and grabbed you tightly. He held you firmly so you wouldn't look back to see the horrid creature behind you. Not like you wanted to anyway.

Jeff shifted in front of you and Jeffery and stared deep into the eyes of the creature.

"What the hell is that thing?"Jeffery asked. Jeff smirked.

"It's the Rake. Another CreepyPasta monster like Slenderman and I."Jeff answers. Jeff reaches into his pocket and pulls out the large knife he had found downstairs. Blood still dripped from it, staining Jeff's pale hands but he didn't mind it.

Jeff then peered over his shoulder at Jeffery. The two locked eyes with serious stares.

"Hide in a safe room. You know what you have to do.."Jeff says. Jeffery nodded.

"Yes but..do you really need to do that to kill this thing??"Jeffery asked. You look up at the two boys. What were they talking about? What did Jeff have to do and what could Jeffery give him?

"Yes, I do. Now go!"Jeff raised his voice at Jeffery a bit as the Rake charged at him. Jeff caught the creature in time and fell to his back. He struggled a bit, holding The Rake's throat in attempt to keep the creature from sinking it's sharp teeth into Jeff's neck.

You couldn't say anything or even react when Jeffery picked you up in his arms and dashed into the darkness of the hall. HE felt along the walls with a free hand  in search for a door.

Finding one, Jeffery threw it open and dashed inside before shutting the door back behind him. Inside the room was a hospital bed and a roller next to it with dried blood stains on it. In the corner was a rusted sink that dripped muggy water.

You scan the room then look back at Jeffery, or at least you tried to but it was hard to see him in the shadows with only the moon's light to illuminate the room.

"Jeffery..what's Jeff going to do? What were you two talking about?"you ask. Jeffery turned to you. The moonlight illuminated his face, making his eyes somewhat glow the bright color of intense blue.

"______....Jeff and I...have this..special..connection. I'm the sane side of Jeff as you are aware of but..Jeff is still partially sane too..but that's only because of the leash I have him on. Jeff..really isn't sane at all...it's just been me controlling him and restraining him.."Jeffery says. You furrow your brows.

"I don't understand.."you tell him. Jeffery took a deep breath and grabbed your shoulders.

"_______...I know you harbor feelings for Jeff..but he isn't what you think.."Jeffery says.

"W-What do you mean?"you ask, feeling a bit of fear wash over you.

"______, the real Jeff..is just a monster. He kills without thinking and has no regrets. He no longer hears the world around him and all he thinks about is killing. The only reason he isn't like that now is because of my subconscious mind that chains that side of him up. But now..I may have to break those chains..and when I do...Jeff..will go on full rampage."Jeffery explains.

Your eyes widen and all you can do is stare at Jeffery. What did that mean? Did that mean that you weren't in love with Jeff but in fact Jeffery? If Jeff was truly a monster then..who was that person that you had grown such intense feelings for?

Jeffery read your reaction like a book.

"I know this may be hard to take in but I don't really have time to explain it to you. Right now, you just need to hide like under the bed or something!"Speechless, you allow Jeffery to usher you under the bed.

Jeffery then sat on the bed you hid under and closed his eyes. His body rested into a meditating position.

"Jeff..I give you permission..Go insane."You heard Jeffery say. What did he mean by that?

The Rake clawed at Jeff's face, leaving three shallow gashes in his pale cheek which slightly made his smile longer on one side of his face.

Jeff tasted his salty blood as it seeped into his mouth from his cuts. At that same moment, the words of Jeffery echoed through his mind.

"Jeff, I give you permission..go insane.." Hearing those words made Jeff feel as if a gigantic weight had been lifted off of him and the chains of sanity had fallen to his sides.

Jeff's eyes widen and his pupils formed into small beaded black dots in his large white irises. Jeff's smile spread wider than ever across his cheeks. He used his sleek tongue to lick away the blood that began to dry at the corner of his mouth.

All thoughts of sanity drained from Jeff's mind, leaving only one thing in it's place.

The will to kill.

Jeff pushed The Rake off of him with ease now and held his knife firmly. As the Rake slid back against the floor, Jeff jumped to his feet and ran at the creature. HE jumped on it's bony back and began to dive the blade of his knife directly into the creatures prominent spine.

The Rake screeched an animalistic cry as Jeff pushes his knife deeper and deeper into it's spinal cord until a snap is heard. Jeff severed the Rake's spine with his knife and pulled it out. Jeff then threw his knife to the side and shoved his own hands into The Rake's back where his knife had been before.

With his own hands, Jeff gripped the severed spine of The Rake and began to pull on it. Black blood splattered the walls, floor and Jeff as he pulled the spine right out of the Rake whose shrieks echoed throughout the Asylum loudly.

The cries of the creature reached you and Jeffery's ears. Jeffery was now hiding under the bed beside you with one arm draped over your shoulders. Jeffery glanced at you from the corner of his eyes.

"It's okay..don't be scared.."he whispered to you. You glance at him and scoot a tad closer so that both of your bodies were touching one another. The contact made Jeffery blush but you didn't notice. You were too consumed in your own fear.

As Jeff pulled out the Rake's spine, his smile grew even wider and more deranged.

"Go..to Sleep!"Jeff laughed manically as the last of The Rake's spine was ripped out. By now the creature was dead and Jeff found himself standing over it, spine in hand, laughing as blood stained through his hoodie and the walls as well as the floor.

He dropped the spine and went for his knife. He held the knife firmly in his hands and turned around to face the empty dark hall. His heavy footsteps echoed throughout the hall as he snuck about.

"Oh Jeffery..________...come out come out wherever you are.."Jeff sang evilly. As Jeff's calls reached you and Jeffery's ears, the two of you turn to each other.

"Don't make a sound.."Jeffery whispered. You nod and move even closer to the boy next to you.
