"_______! Are you listening to me?! _________!"

You stared up at the boy who was grasping your hand. Your eyes were wide at his previous statement but you couldn't respond to it. You had more important things to worry about like the fact you were dangling off of the wall. The wall that separated humanity from it's inevitable extinction by titans. Titan, humanoid, man eating creatures with an unbelievable thirst for human blood.

They clawed at the bottom, watching you. Waiting for you to fall so they could devour you. The boy above, holding your wrist and keeping you from falling was Eren Jaeger, a boy with short coffee brown hair and big turquoise  colored eyes.

He was grunting as he attempted to pull you back up. Why..why did it have to be him that was closest to you in this time? Sure, you were thankful for being rescued but..you couldn't help but feel a sense of dread at Eren's presence.

"_______! Say something!"He yelled down at you. But all you could do was stare up at him with wide eyes.

I'm holding on your rope
Got me ten feet off the ground

But I just can't make a sound


"W-What...?"You finally mule after a moment of silence. Eren grunted.

"I said I-"

"Eren! _______!" Eren groaned and looked over at a boy who was rushing over. His short blond hair was blowing wildly back due to his sprinting and blue eyes wide in panic.

"Armin.."You sighed in relief at the sight of him. Quickly Armin dropped down to his knees and laid down onto his abdomen beside Eren. He then reached for your free hand, which you happily gave to him.

Both grunting, Eren and Armin pulled with all their might and hoisted you back up onto the surface of the wall where it was safe. Irritation was apparent on Eren's face and obvious in his composure as he looked to the side while you and Armin embraced.

Armin Arlert, a boy with short golden hair and bright sky blue eyes. He was also a certified genius and his quick thinking had saved you and Eren's life more than once.

"Thats was close.."he said softly as he pulled you close and buried his face in your (h/l) (h/c) hair. Armin was also your current love interest as well. "Luckily Eren was here in time." Armin looked over at his brunette friend who was glaring to the side.

"It was nothing."he grumbled. "But I need to talk to ______ alone..if you don't mind that it.." Armin frowned slightly and looked at you. You nodded to him.

"It's okay...Get going, I'll catch up.."You tell him before leaning up to kiss his cheek. This was to assure him that you stayed devoted to him alone.

"A-alright..Be careful..I'll see you two later."Armin murmured before turning and walking away from the two of you. Once he was gone, Eren looked back at you.

"You didn't respond."he stated and you remained silent. Growling Eren stomped over to you and grabbed your arms, forcefully turning you to meet his gaze. "I love you _______. Say something back dammit!!" You glare and push Eren off of you.

Then you go and cut me down, but wait

Didn't think I'd turn around and say


"No Eren. I'm with Armin. I'm happy with Armin and I am over you. You blew your  chance!"You bark. Eren growled and looked to the side.

"I was an idiot! It was a stupid mistake! But I learned from it!"He bellowed. You shake your head and step back.

"No Eren. It's done. We're over. Deal with it." Eren went quiet and bit his lip hard enough to draw blood as he watched you walk away from his. His body was trembling in anger and frustration.

"Dammit..."

Eren didn't sit with you and Armin at dinner that night. Instead, he sat by Jean but kept his turquoise glare on you and Armin. He would growl every time Armin touched you. How he despised his best friend right now.

"You know Eren..maybe you should just leave ______ and Armin alone. You did break up with her after all.."Mikasa spoke up, cutting through his thoughts. Eren glanced over at her with furious eyes.

"Oh what do you know?!"he shouted. Mikasa shrugged.

"I know that ______ does not love you Eren. It's Armin and you should deal with it."She said again.

"Shut up!!"Eren screamed, gaining the whole cabin's attention. You and Armin stared for a moment before you got up and smiled at the blond.

"I'll be right back."You tell him. Armin nodded and watched as you walked out. Eren watched as well and looked down. Now was his chance to have you alone again. Quickly, he excused himself and jogged out after, Armin still watching with a slight scowl.

"________ wait up!" you heard Eren call to you. You groaned and looked back at him.

"What do you want?!"You hollered, glaring at him. Eren glared slightly as well as he jogged over to you.

"I want you."he replied quickly."I need you _______. Please, give me a second chance!!"

You shake your head and look to the side.

"Eren look. There was a time where all I wanted was to hear you say that. There was a time where I loved you with all my heart. But you broke it. Armin helped mend it and I love him now so stop asking! Stop following me around! The answer is no! No matter how many times you apologize!"

Eren growled and suddenly you felt yourself being pushed back against the side of the cabin and your wrists pinned above your head. You winced at the tight grip.

"Eren stop! Let me go!"

"Why won't you accept me now?! I told you it was a fucking mistake!"He barked.

"Hey! Leave her alone!!"You and Eren both look up to see Armin standing on the steps of the cabin, glaring. "She said stop Eren..Let her go."

Eren scowled and released you quickly, stalking towards Armin.  You watched, somewhat fearful for Armin's sake.

"You..knew I loved her Armin."He sneered. Armin gulped but kept his hardened look.

"I didn't...I just knew that you broke her heart."He says. Eren  growls and suddenly lunges, slamming his fist into Armin's cheek, causing the boy to be knocked back against the wall before sliding down to the steps, holding his cheek. You gasp and run over to his side quickly. The sound of the commotion was enough to attract everyone inside.

All stared at Eren was standing over you and Armin with wide eyes.

"Eren..what the hell are you doing?!"Jean was the first to speak up, storming over to him. "Get ahold of yourself man!!" Eren looked at Jean then back at you and Armin who was staring back with his hand over his swollen cheek.

What had he done? He had punched his best friend and for what? Because he wanted to fix something that he had ruined himself? Armin wasn't to blame, nor _______.. Only he was and he had let jealously cloud his better judgement.

"I..I'm sorry..I don't know what came over me.."

Days passed since then and Armin had forgiven Eren for hitting him and was completely understandable to why he did it. Eren also apologized to you and though hesitant, you forgave him as well.

Eren still couldn't help but feel guilty overtime he saw you and Armin together. He almost ruined something even more beautiful. His friendship with two of the most important people in his life.

He sighed as he sat on the wall and gazed out at the plain far in the distance, his thoughts still finding their way back to you. He couldn't help but smile and think that he may still have a chance...someday....
