"Whoa,whoa,whoa!!!Stop for a minute!!"

"What's wrong,love?"Arthur asks you.You stare at him and place a hand on your head.

"So you're telling me...that god..the ruler of heaven..sent you down here..to be MY guardian angel?!" You say.Arthur smiles and nods.

"Yes love..didn't we just discuss that?"

"Why?Why me?"you ask.Arthur's smile vanishes and he rubs the back of his neck,looking away from you.

"Well..let me explain this..you see,humans only get guardian angels when they have or are about to face a serious hardship in their life.Usually it's a traumatic accident and what not and then god has to decide if the person should remain living or if they should die.Thats where I come in!I stay with you until my time is up then I give an evaluation on the person and their fate is decided from there.."Arthur explains.You stare at him blankly.Eyes wide in shock,terror,and disbelief.

"W-what..?"you mumble.

"Oh dear..perhaps I've said too much..they always react this way when I tell them this.."Arthur says to himself.

"I'm gonna die?!!!"you shout.Arthur sighs and gives you a nervous smile.

"N-now poppet..that's not what I said..I said that I have to evaluate you and then the boss will decide.Only he knows but nothing has been said in stone yet so just relax.."

"Relax?Relax?!!How the hell can I relax after getting news like that?!"you yell at Arthur.

"Oh come now,love.Its not the end of the world.."

"Yes it is!!It may as well be the end if my world!Im gonna die!!Youre not an angel at all are you?!You're a grim reaper!"

"Oh jeez..now we've hit the grim reaper phase.."Arthur says,with a roll of his green eyes.You put your hands to your face and plop down in the closest chair next to you.

"I can't believe this...why?Why me?"you sob.Arthur sighed and walked over to you,sitting down beside you.He. Cleared this throat and slowly placed an arm around you.

"Shh it's okay,love.Nothing is going to happen to you..I'm you're guardian angel..I won't let it.."he whispers to you.You sniffle and look up at him.

"What?It's your freaking fault this is gonna happen!!If you hadn't shown up I would have-"

"Been dead by now..."Arthur says.You stare at him confused,tears streaming from your eyes.

"W-what do you mean?"Arthur sighed.

"Well,you see,love.If I hadn't shown up..you would have been dead by now..because..I already saved you once.."he says.

"You..already saved me?What are you talking about?!"

"Well...you see,a few weeks ago you almost died and I saved you,though you were unaware that it was me.."

"What are you talking about?!"you ask,loudly.Arthur flipped through some papers attached to his clipboard then stared at you.

"_____ ______ at age 13,slipped and fell into a rushing river by her house.She bumped her head on a nearby rock,making it difficult for her to stay conscious and call for help.______ reached for a hand as she drifted off into her demise,surprisingly though,a hand was grabbed and she was pulled out of the flowing water and pulled onto land.Then given CPR for approximately 5 minutes straight."he says.You stand there,mouth agape.

"What are you saying?!"you ask.Arthur smiled and patted your shoulder.

"The person to save you was none other than yours truly!"he said,gesturing towards himself.You look down at the ground.

"So that's why.After being saved,my parents and I looked for my savior..but to no avail did we find him.."you mumble.Arthur scratches the back of his neck.

"Yes,sorry about that love.You were too young then..I couldn't let you see me or know who I was so I-"Arthur stopped in mid sentence when you jump at him and embrace him tightly."W-what are you doing,love??"

"Thank you.."you whisper.Arthur's face to flush.

"W-why are you t-thanking me?It was just my job love."Arthur says.You shake your head.

"I know but..I have always wanted to thank the person who saved my life that day..and now here you are..so just..thanks."you whisper.Arthur stood there speechless.His arms dangled by his side.

"I..um..y-you're welcome."he says,smiling gently before wrapping his arms around you,returning the embrace.You sniffle and let go of him then wipe your eyes.Arthur looked around then back at you."Sorry..I have to go now,love.I'm being summoned."he says.

"You're disappearing again?"you ask.Arthur nods.

"Yes but don't worry.I'll be back."Arthur wipes your tears away and smiles.You nod your head and Arthur takes a step back.He places his hands together and kneels down on his knees.He begins to chant.

"Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Hear thy prayer from an angel,
Your faithful servant
Who stands by your side,
Imaging your faith and thy pride.
Hear thy words from Earth to Heaven.
Call me back once more and let me walk in your wake.
Thy holy father an angel prays to you.
Amen.</i>"You watch in amazement as Arthur's body glows brightly,nearly blinding you.You shield your eyes as everything goes bright around you and Arthur stands up.

"Well..see you later,love."he says.You hear a flapping sound,must be his wings expanding.Then in a flash,he was gone along with the bright light.

Arthur smiled as bright light hit his face,engulfing him in warmth.The feeling of air flowing through his hair made him relax and feel at ease and calm.As it should.The softness of clouds beneath him made his steps lighter as he walked.

"Great to be back.."he sighs.

"Hey!!Artie!!"A loud voice said.Arthur looked over to see his friend,Francis flying towards him.

"Oh..hello there Francis."he says.Francis landed in front of Arthur and smiled.

"Ohohoho,look!I finally have been granted my halo."he says.Arthur smiles and pats Francis's shoulder.

"That's great Francis,but I can't talk right now.The boss has summoned me."he says.

"Oh..is zhat right?Well okay.I have to get to the library now and turn in my last client's death record so I can start as a senior angel!Bye bye!"Francis jumps in the air and flaps his huge golden wings,flying off.Arthur waved goodbye before jumping up himself and flapping his wings.He flew and flew through heaven until he reached a large shimmering,pearl white building.White columns held it together and it seemed to be as big as an ocean.It's staircases were lined with pure gold and the railings were made of sleek silver.White clouds floated lazily around the building and at the top was large halo that went around the whole building.Arthur flew to the door of the building and landed,obeying the sign that read:'No flying in.'

He walked in and to the stairs,his footsteps echoing against the marble floor beneath him.He walked up the first flight,then flew the rest of the way until he reached a golden door.He opened it gently and flew into the room before kneeling down on one knee in front of a large golden desk.

"You summoned me,my lord?"Arthur asks.

"Ah..Arthur,my faithful servant and friend.How has your wing been?I heard you injured it during your landing."God says.

"It's doing much better,sir.Thank you."Arthur replies.

"Good.How has everything else been?With ____ of course."God asks.

"I have shown her my form master.I pray you can forgive me.."Arthur says.

"Of course I forgive you,do not fret.I know you have a very good explanation for doing so.Though,there is something that troubles me,Arthur."

"What is that,my lord?"Arthur asks.

"Love..Do you love ______,Arthur?"Arthur's eyes widen.

"Why yes sir I do but..isn't it an angel's job to love thy persons thy must protect?"he asks.

"Indeed it is..a guardian angel must love them like they love everyone but..Arthur there is a difference from an angel's love and a mortal's love.You have always been the one to get attached Arthur.It has always been something to be admired by you."

"T-thank you my lord?"

"However..you must never get attached to a mortal woman.It goes against an angel's concepts thus it could throw off balance between heaven and Earth and create a link to the two."

"A link?"

"Yes..the link would be a newborn created by thy angel and by thy mortal,making a Nephilium."Arthur blinks.

"A half angel half human..or as some call it.."

"A fallen angel.This could danger the balance between man and angel and if that balance is disrupted,the balance between heaven and hell would be shook as well.The demons of hell would search for the Nephilium."

"But why sir?"Arthur asks.

"To get to heaven.If a demon enters Heaven they would be slain,however,an army of demons in heaven could cause a dangerous war and Earth would be thy battle ground."Arthur gasped.

"I..I see..."

"Yes..that is why you mustn't fall in love with ______ Arthur.I know you have guarded her since her birth,you have watched her growth and development over time.It is natural for you to have attachment but trust me.If you and _____ were to ever harvest feelings for one another,the price would be horrific.It may even kill ______ and if heaven is destroyed..she will only be sent to hell.You don't want that do you?"God asks.Arthur stands and shakes his head.

"No sir.."

"Good.I know you are loyal Arthur.You will do what is right."God says.Arthur nods and turns back towards the door.

"Thank you sir.."
